Vermont Law School Students in GZ

This past week four Vermont Law School students were in GZ doing their joint research paper presentations with their Chinese student partners as part of our US-China Partnership for Environmental Law. I attended presentations on Chinese energy policy and on the problem of electronic waste in China. My family and I took the Vermont Law students to dinner on Monday, joined by some other Sun Yat-sen University graduate students and another Fulbrighter. On Wednesday, one of the Vermont Law School students guest lectured in my courses to discuss his experiences as an American university and law school student. It was nice to see some of my former students, and I look forward to teaching upon my return to VT.
