Glorious Day

The weather the last two days has been breezy and unseasonably cool. In other words, perfect! Sunny and in the 60s. The local we talk to explain that the weather this year has been very odd. It has been much cooler than is typical. It has also been quite dry. In fact, there are several provinces to the North and West of Guangdong which have been experiencing significant drought – affecting agriculture (sugar cultivation in particular) and supplies of potable water. Although we worry about changes in weather patterns, we can’t say that we are too sorry to be here under these conditions.
