Rough Patch

We have had a holiday weekend – Spring Grave seeping day was today. The statues have all been cleaned and most have flowers placed at their bases.

It’s going OK, although we are still battling the Guangzhou hack and the weather is getting me down a bit. We haven’t seen the sun in several days – just a pea soup of smog/fog/cloud cover. People with more experience here than we have keep talking about how the air is particularly terrible. Technically, we should keep the kids inside on account of the poor air quality. However, I don’t have much confidence in the indoor air quality either.

That’s the think about being here. When things are going well, it is fine. When people are ill or the weather is bad, we are just not comfortable.
