Over the past year or so I have noticed a significant decrease in the extent to which I suffer from jetlag. On my most recent arrival in Sweden (coming from the US), I seemed to have skipped the jetlag entirely – never even arriving at that point of feeling the room spinning in my exhaustion. I find myself wondering if I am literally just suffering less from jetlag because I have normalized it and developed strategies for managing or if, in fact, my body actually adapts more quickly and effortlessly to time zones as I hop around the northern hemisphere.
